Weston Technology Solutions began in 1994 serving the needs of small businesses in Anchorage, Alaska. The company was founded on the cornerstones of honesty, integrity and doing what is right for both the customer and our employees. We opened our second Pacific Northwest location in 2002 in the city of Bend, Oregon with plans to open new offices on a regular basis in the Pacific Northwest. Over the past 13 years we have planned, implemented and supported technology solutions for clients that allow them to leverage their technology to save money and improve performance. We believe technology can be used to help a customer succeed and operate as a trusted advisor and partner in the development of our customer’s businesses.
President, CEO
Brock is founding owner and President of Weston Technology Solutions. Since starting the company in 1994, he has focused on Weston partnering with its clients to solve their technology frustrations. As the company has grown, he has transitioned from a purely technical role to developing the strategic and sales aspects of Weston.
When he is not focusing on Weston, Brock enjoys camping with his family. He has a beautiful wife and four great kids that keep him challenged and rewarded. In 2002, the McFarlane family moved from Anchorage to Bend to be closer to family and to start the first branch office. They all enjoy being close to the grandparents and the great quality of life that Bend offers.
Brock graduated from Oregon State University with a major in Business – Management Information Systems. He is an active member of his church and is developing ways to allow his business endeavors to be used to help provide hope for others, especially orphanages.

Chief Operations Officer
In his youth Harald had the advantage of living a privileged life with his family, traveling from one country to the next. Along the way, he picked up 5 languages and a love for diversity.
Harald fell into the IT world by accident; he had always tinkered with computers from a very young age and was afforded the chance at a career in the field after leaving college. He moved to Alaska for a few years and then decided to move to Bend upon the urging of a good friend. In his work Harald above all appreciates the relationships he has developed with co-workers and clients alike.

Bookkeeper
Becky brings more than 25 years of accounting experience to Weston, with the last 8 years in the Technology environment. Her bookkeeping and organizational skills keep Weston’s financial information on track.
Becky was drawn to the Central Oregon area in the mid 90’s working for a mailing service. Within a few months she went to work for a local greeting card company as their bookkeeper, where she helped develop automated systems for customizing Christmas card orders. Then the opportunity appeared for her to work for Microwing, thus becoming part of the Weston family.
Outside of Weston she enjoys spending time with her family & friends (especially watching her grandson play baseball), riding ATVs, and sharing her life with her husband.

MSP Automation/Helpdesk Specialist
Originally from Southwest Virginia, Jim has spent most of his adult life traveling the world in various jobs. Having been to all 50 U.S. states and 36 countries, he finally decided that Central Oregon is where he feels the most at home.
An IT career wasn’t in his plans when he was attending college and working nights as a main frame computer operator. A connection with friends in Asia turned into an opportunity to become the IT Coordinator for an international K-12 school in Taiwan in 1998. Those connections eventually led to other opportunities in different schools in South Korea and in Malaysia.
In Malaysia, Jim spent over eight years as a Network Administrator and IT Coordinator designing & building networks and supporting a wide range of hardware and software. He landed in Bend in 2006 at the urging of close friends and has decided that this is his favorite spot on the planet and hopes to settle here for the long term.
What Jim appreciates most about Weston is that everyone stands by the companies’ core purpose “To Better the Lives Others.”
